Titanic Ice Sculpture Event

Titanic Branson to Host 4th Annual Ice Sculpturing Competition. Have an Ice Day on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Spectacular ice formations will rise from Titanic Branson’s parking lot when National Ice Carving Association’s Titans of Ice compete in Titanic’s 4th Annual Ice Carving competition from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 announces Jaynee, Titanic First Class Maid. This free, one-day exhibition has proven to be one of the museum attraction’s most exciting and heavily attended family events of the year. “Last year more than 7,000 visitors stopped to watch 18 professional and amateur carvers turn 250 –pound blocks of ice into fantastic designs. This year we expect to welcome even more,” Jaynee says.

Visitors can view sculptures in progress, talk to the artists and learn the secrets of championship ice carving from the experts. The official NICA Judging Panel will announce the competition winners and award prizes..
